Do you have what it takes?
Welcome to the first whole-world, real-life football manager simulator. It's you against the world. Can you build your Aura?
You're tired of seeing cookie-cutter manager games, where you can "restart" if you get fired.
The real world is chaotic. Sackings, back-stabbing, the press, the youth... there are so many things going on. And yet, there is one thing that trumps it all in real life.
The one thing that some managers have, that you wish you had...
Aura.
You've seen it. Some managers just seem to "have it".
They keep winning, and their players buy into their story. Others keep convincing presidents that they're worthy of the job.
And now comes the real question.
Have you ever wondered if you would have "it"?
Would you be able to get everyone to play for each other, to fight, and the fans to love you?
To find the hidden gem that's playing two divisions lower than your team?
To build the best stadium, and make it profitable?
Would you have the "Aura"?
It's time to find out.
You decide your path to stardom.
The loyal one
Take your neighbourhood club up, one division at a time, and stay when the phone rings.
The climber
Do well where you are and a bigger club calls. You climb by being hired.
The special one
Arrive somewhere big and win now. Or be out by Christmas.
The youth expert
Open the scout's envelope every week and sign the local boy before anyone else has heard of him.
The tactics genius
You pick the eleven and the shape, and you live with the result on Saturday.
The concept
Aura is what the world thinks of you
Players, fans, the president, the press. It goes up when you deliver. It goes down when you do not. It follows you to the next club, and it decides who calls. Nobody in the top division hires a manager they have never heard of.
Build your aura.
The world
Your neighbourhood club is in it
Aura emulates all the tiers of football, so that you can fulfil the dream of bringing your neighbourhood club to the top tier, or move up so that you're called up by a big club. But a big club comes with big responsibilities... will you be able to handle it?
London, division by division
137 clubs across eleven divisions, from the Premier League to the parks. No London club plays in the eighth.

House rules
The real world does not revolve around you. Can you still make it?
These are some things you won't be able to do in Aura.
Restart the game
Just like in real life, there is no reload. A bad season will be part of your story, and it's up to you to rebuild your aura!
Pause the world
The clock moves every day, with you or without you. Miss a week and the league moved on.
Be the centre of it
You will share the world with other human managers, as well as the native Aura managers. The press will write about whoever did exciting stuff this week!
Stay stuck in one seat
You can resign, you can be sacked, and you can take a worse job to get to a better one.
Discover local talents
The scout's report comes in an envelope
Every week your head scout runs trials at the academy and sends you the report. Open it before the club next door hears about him.

Scouting
Nobody hands you the numbers
When a player is barely known, a few attributes are visible, and it's up to you to scout him and find out if he's a hidden gem!
Keep your players happy
They have a day job, friends and a name in town
In the lower divisions, your players have jobs! They have friends, a family and a reputation in the neighbourhood. Keep them engaged, and they will give their best for you!

Find sponsors
Are you reliable?
You'll be able to leverage your aura and connections to get better deals with local, regional and even international companies, and build your relationship with them. Are you reliable? If you deliver on your promises, you might be able to attract better sponsors!
Develop your stadium
Build the ground as you go up
Your first ground has room for a few hundred people and a pitch made of earth. Ask the board for a stand or a proper surface. Whether they say yes depends on what they think of you.
Tactics genius
Do you know your football?
You pick the eleven, the shape, the pressing and the bench. On Saturday you find out if you were right.
Matchday, live
League games on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, cup ties on Sundays, European nights on Tuesdays. Thousands of matches kick off at once, and yours is one of them. Watch it as it happens, or read the result with everyone else.
Once it's taken, it's taken, so choose wisely!
One manager per club. Clubs are available from the fourth division down to your neighbourhood. Above that, nobody books: you get hired.
Questions
Before you ask
Can I book a first-division club?
Not yet! You won't be accepted, because you start the game with no Aura.
Bookings run from the fourth division down. Build your Aura somewhere small and the bigger clubs will start calling.
How do I climb?
You get hired! Do well where you are, or be seen to be building something, and a bigger club calls! Presidents watch the same results you do.
You can also apply for an open seat. Whether they answer depends on what they have heard about you!
How long is a season?
Each season is 12 weeks long.
When are the games?
League games are on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, three a week. Cup ties are on Sundays and European nights are on Tuesdays, when your club is in them.
What happens if I get sacked?
You are out of work, with your aura dented. Somebody lower down may still want you. Take it or wait for a better call.
Can I restart?
No.
Wait, doesn't this look like those old Championship Manager games?
You bet it does! Aura is an homage to the golden age of manager games!
When does it start?
The world begins on 14 October 2026. People who signed up book their club first.
